The project and the installation of intelligent lighting systems in historic buildings, starting with the Casa del Cabildo in Santiago de Compostela as a pilot project, will achieve the following benefits:

• 60 % savings in maintenance costs for luminaires.
• 50% savings in the cost of heritage conservation tasks.
• A biodiversity-friendly lighting system.
• Luminaires with a longer lifetime, designed taking into account the principles of the circular economy.
